Hello there~
I am always looking for "loyal" friends to have in my life! Friends who will not ignore things that I say to them when I talk with them and also know more than "1 word" or just "a few words" in the entire dictionary when replying to me... if that person is you... feel free to get to learn and know me and maybe we can be friends too... of course that is the cost of an obvious +watch.
No watch... no friend.
Only "if" we are truly friends.. you will also follow me in my other networks as well..
I'm not "just a follower" or "just a watcher" and I hope that I'm not looked at as such to those of you who calls me "friend".. it's sad that many people do that however in regards to followers/watchers... but no true friend will do that to you..

I myself have been into the 3D Mobian style and even wanted to get into it sometime ago but I wasn't able to get the hang of doing anything 3D. Which 3D program did you work with when you made him if I may ask? ^_^

I'm glad you find my character design intriguing. In actuality, Waves and Wake are the same character. (Thanks for the on him, by the way.) I wanted to make him look more like a Spinner Dolphin, which is the species he is, and to follow more of the dolphin designs in the Sonic comics. As for the rename, it was because of wanting to distance him from Wave the Swallow to avoid confusion. I made my dolphin character when I was a little girl as my first Sonic fan character, and I'm glad to see him still thriving today.
As for what program I use, it's Blender: https://www.blender.org/
I got into the program when it was starting out and now it's on v. 4.0.2. There are a lot of tutorials online for Blender stuff nowadays, so now's a good time to get into it.
I kind of had a feeling that Wake/Waves were the same character (which you are welcome about me asking adding him to my collection of wonderfuls). I will definitely say that you did well with his design. His design from you actually was inspiring to me. ^_^
I understand your reasons for the name change to not confuse people with Wave.
Yes, sometimes a creation of ours can still end up catching the eye of someone sometime later even after they've been out for a while. It's one of the reasons why I would not ever take away the viewing of an art that I've done in the past if I've posted it. I understand why people do it, but I still won't do it. :3
Ah Blender. I had a feeling. I will just check out some more tutorials when time allows it. Though I'm likely going to be looking more into it since Blender apparently is good for 2D art which I've recently been looking at tutorials for (animation purpose). It would be good to just use one utility for everything.
